On Sunday, 13 November the 1st Malew Scout Group paraded at the Scout Hall in Ballasalla to join with the local community to remember and pay their respects to all those who died in the first and second world wars and from 1945 to the present day. The group had the pleaser to be joined by Mr. Chris Harris, the Regional Commissioner and Mr. Peter Young, the Island 
Commissioner.
Prior to attending the church service, and the wreath laying, Mr Harris presented Doreen Douglas (one of their Cub Scout Leaders) with her 20 years service award.
